revontuli2 is one photograph out of the 3 in this series that texi has submitted, all 3 being absolutely unique, one has to be featured to showcase the amazing display of nature that this photographer had captured. the array of colors in these northern lights, along with the silloutes of tress balancing the dark sky, make this a view to remember. i actually got a chance to see the northern lights oh, about ten years ago... magnificent...

I've actually caught the aroura twice here in Nebraksa in the past year...
it's actually more common than people realize, you just have to know when to look for it....
great picture too!
